Pan de Sal

Ayiii! Pan de sal! Don't you love eating pan de sal in the morning? You either dip it in or eat with a cup of coffee.

As some of you know, our family has a business of a bakery. It is almost 20 years now. When I was a kid, I seldom visit my mom there. It just so happens that now, I don't really want it there, simply because it's really hot there. The place is so small that I don't want to add up to the heat. The place where the bakery lies is an urban area here in Las Pinas. (I don't really know why, but may be because a lot of people live there.) Plus, oven there, metal bars here and there, mom running around for the customers' needs, grocery stuff everywhere and her men running around as well making and baking bread of all varieties.

Anyway, since we have a bakery, they often bring home pan de sal before. My mom's 'panaderos' really make good pan de sal. However, due to hectic schedule of my mom, she cannot really bring home pan de sal anymore. :(

Now, I really want to try and make one. I have been wanting it but my dad keeps on telling me that it's not that easy to make a good pan de sal. So, I'm having second thoughts of giving an effort.

As they say, 'practice makes it perfect!', I'll try to adapt that saying in making pan de sal. It's for my hubby and baby's brekky. (wag din sanang tatamarin! hehe!)

Once I make one, I will share it here in my blog! :)

Question: Do have something in mind that you have been wanting to do for the longest time?
