Thinking of getting a job??.... Not!

I have been pondering on this ever since Johann's 1st Birthday. As you all know, I am a "Stay-at-Home Mom". I really enjoy being a mom. No doubt that. It's just that, there comes a time when in I think about a lot of things like our monthly budget, plans for Johann's future, things I want and need to buy, expenses, and believe it or not, boredom.

I just became a home buddy when I gave birth. But mind you, before that, I rarely stay at home. I enjoy more when I'm out. Now, I'm always home taking care of Johann. He's even more bored than me that he keeps on crying just to go and play outside. That's a different story though. Anyway, it is kind of  boring at home.

I am just too lazy to go outside because if I go out, I usually worry Johann being a handful. I really can't go out with him without John. I am the type of person pa naman who becomes irritable when it's hot. If Johann's malikot, ako din, naiinitan. Hehe!

Any way, I want to work already. For the past months, I have been trying to check for job openings/postings in Jobstreet. I saved a lot of searches. But, I am still not passing my resume. I need a "GO" signal from my hubby.

Yes! A "GO" signal! Well, he doesn't want me to work. He wants me to take care of him but most especially Johann, ofcourse. I understand what he means because as I mentioned earlier, Johann's a handful. He is also so attached to us or more on me, that he cries when we leave him with my in-laws. It tears my heart if he cries like that. Nakakaawa.

Oh well. So far, John agrees naman. Only if Johann is already 3 years of age. He may be handful that age daw but hindi na din siguro masyado kasi madali nang mapagsasabihan. We're still not sure though. Also, John has a condition. If he gets a job in Singapore, he either does not want me to work anymore or if I already have one, I have to stop.

Hay. It's hard to choose. As if, I have. Eh my hubby nga ang may ayaw. Boo!

Don't get me wrong okay? John is not that kind of husband na mahigpit on things. He let me be. Only when it comes to this lang because he doesn't want our baby to be left with his or my parents. Dami na kasi kids sakanila so madaming inaalagaan then my parents are not at home most of the time.

I'm torn but yeah, we'll see in the future. I know whatever decision I'll make it'll be for the good of my family. Goodluck!

For the meantime, I have to deal with it. So far, I am happy. May be bored at times. Buti nalang Johann and John are always there to cheer me and make me laugh more. Teehee.. :)

BPI Deposit Machines

It was holiday yesterday or few hours ago. No bank was open. What if you really need to go to a bank to deposit money? What to do? What to do?

Good thing, my bank is BPI. There are a lot of services that BPI offers to Filipinos that are really convenient. There is Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Pay Bills, Transfer Funds, etc. But one service that I find very convenient is the Deposit Machine that BPI has.

We usually use ATMs to withdraw money right? We can do it any day of the week or any time of the day. May be holidays or weekends. Except for those times that it is unavailable ofcourse! No cash maybe? hehe. So as I asked earlier, What if we really need to deposit money right away? It may be a weekend, holiday or basta NO banking day. How?

Deposit Machines of BPI accept cash denominations in P1000, P500 and P100. It is credited to your account IN AN INSTANT.

Just like any other bank machines, it will provide you receipt of each transaction.

Atleast, you don't really need to fill up forms, fall in line and wait for hours or even days if bank if closed.

I had this experience just awhile ago. It is already 3am and I had to deposit the money because I know that tomorrow will just make John too lazy to go out because it is sooo mainit!

Depositing money is so easy! No sweat at all.

1. Insert your card
2. Select language desired.
3. Select "Express Deposit".
4. Insert cash in denominations of P1000, P500, and P100.
5. Press Deposit, Return or Add Cash.

Viola! Deposit any time of the day! Convenient, yes?! After that you'll get your receipt.

Aside from real-time deposits, the BPI Cash Deposit Machine can also provide the following services:

1.Balance Inquiry
2.Funds Transfer
3.Bills Payment
4.Prepaid Cellphone Reloading (Globe and Touch Mobile)
5.Prepaid Card/ Express Cash Reloading

*PIN required for all transactions noted above. (info source)
Bravo! for BPI. I am one happy citizen!

Virus! Stay away from my baby!

Last week, sadly, my bebi Johann got sick. He had fever and was so lifeless. He didn't want to stand, walk and play. He wanted to be carried all along. the second day, we tried to observe him. He played for quite some time. Fever was gone. But as night came, it was as high as 40˚. It was so late already that we had to wait for the following day. Since John and I were so worried as hell, we hurried to Johann's Pedia early morning. Good thing there were no patients at all. So it was our turn right away.

Doc asked us to bring our baby to the laboratory to have Johann's blood checked. All the other categories were normal except for the platelet count. Oh my! Well, I said to myself, it was okay since it was still within the preferred bracket but still it was kind of low. T_T So when we went back to Doc, he told us that it is a sign of virus. It can be pox, measles, uti or worst, dengue. He told us to observe everything that Johann secretes. May be pee or poo. As long as there would be no signs of blood we're all going to be fine.

Doc asked us to go back in the afternoon to have another platelet count. Just to make sure if his count would go high or low. Luckily, when Johann had his platelet count, it went high but not high enough. So dengue has been illiminated. Doc asked us to have Johann's pee checked. Results showed that Johann has UTI. He said that it was only mild not that worse yet but he still provided us prescription for this virus.

The follwing day, Johann was already lively and so kulit already. We just continued giving him the medicine. But I noticed some bumps on his back. It was not really noticeable but if you thoroughly check his back and chest, you'll see those small bumps that is kind of reddish. Ayay yay yay yay!

It was Sunday, so the Pedia is not available. We then again had to wait for Monday. So Monday, came. Doc told us to have his platelet count once again! Wawa baby ko. He had to experience that pointy thing 3 times just to know what's going on. Platecount went back to 190. The count on the first CBC. Oh my! But Doc said not to worry too much because as he can see, it might only be measles, not dengue. BUT.. BUT.. BUT.. He said, we still have to monitor his pee and poo for any signs of dengue. We can never can tell what it might really be. Just to make sure, he said.

We are continuing his meds. So far, his appetite improved already even his kakulitan. Went back to 100% makulit. Hehe. When I checked earlier, the bumps lessened already. I can still see a few though. John and I are just praying so hard for Johann to be 100% fully recovered, so that his mood will be okay also. His kind of irritable lately, may be because it is itchy or something. We don't really know.

Anyway, for you other moms who are having these kinds of dilemma, consult a doctor right away. These viruses are really getting on my nerves especially that they keep attacking our babies.

Pray and Keep Safe Always! :)
