I am an artist...

Hmm.. Some people don't know is that I am an artist. I take photographs, I edit videos, I graphic-design, etc. These are just some of the things I love to do when I was in college. After college, I still love doing these however, there is a very long story why I took a different job line. It actually lessened, I mean, what I do love the most.

And then, I got pregnant. Well, I soooo love being a mom to my one and only son, but sometimes, I miss doing those things I loved and still love.

Yes, I do take photos still but, mostly just random pics of everyday life, and not in a professional way. You know, something that has more meaning into it, or something that has concept and all that. I know for my self that there is still one rule in being an artist, "THERE ARE NO RULES."

I do miss editing videos as well. Even segment/commercials of TV shows. I miss ABS-CBN. Really.

Haay.. Once I recover in being a mom, cyempre kahit ilang months nadin yun, I'm still struggling since there are a lot of milestones na I experience with my baby, I will soon get back to what I have left off. That is being an artist. Graphic design man yan, video editor, photographer or the like.

Random Pasyal Day

I got bored at home so I asked John if we could go strolling @ SM Southmall. He also wanted to deposit money in BDO, so he agreed.

When we got there, I decided to take a picture of my "mag-ama".

I'm sure that in the future, my son, Johann will be a head-turner. Look how cute he is. Actually he is not cute, he is pogi. hehe. 

Kanino pa nga naman daw magmamana yan kundi sa papa nya. hehe..

Johann walked!

I thank John for always encouraging Johann to walk. Well, I do pratice Johann by walking with him in the sala or terrace.. I hold his hands and he walks..

When Johann turned 7 months, he also started standing up on his own without support. As in, stand on his own talaga. However, he cannot really step yet. He tries, and I can see that on his face everytime he stands. I tried encouraging him but nothing happens. He just stands.

Kanina, when John got home from work, he played with Johann. He made him stand. He also looked for things na ma-aattract c Johann para he'd see if baby will try to get it by walking towards that thing.

It was a success! Johann would giggle while looking on whatever things he sees na attractive then he'd walk towards it. Mga 3-5 steps din yun.. Galing ng tactics ni John eh. :)

John said that I should pratice Johann more in walking and encourage him as well.

As for my Johann.... Good job baby!! :)

Night Out!

I had fun last night. I went out with my in-laws (Mami Lina, Ate Jaq, Ate Jehn and the kids (JB, Elaine & Ehyrel)). It was actually just out of the blue when they asked me if I could join them. Ako naman si excited so I immediately went home, waited for my mom to clean herself up to take care of Johann so that I could go gimik with my in-laws..

They didn't want to eat just somewhere.. especially yung mga places wherein they offer meals. They wanted lite foods lang like mga pika-pika or ihaw-ihaw. BF Pque is the place to be in our case. Aguirre Rd. is a long streak of road where a lot of establishments are present. We had a lot of choices.. We even thought of eating @ Tav Asia where John is working as a Bartender. However, we chose to look for a place with better ambiance since we have children with us.. Last three choices were Laiya Bar & Grill, Central and Tides. There were a lot of peeps in Laiya and Central so we decided to eat @ Tides.

It's not my first time there. Gimikan din namin yung place na yun. But, those were my inuman days. So haven't tried a lot of their menu. At first you'll think na the place is for pure inuman. Well, the place is just right for us padin naman since there is an area there where in hindi naman super nakakahiyang may kasama kaming kiddos.

The food's okay naman. We actually ordered Buffalo Fries, Sizzling Tofu, Buffalo Chicken Wings, BBQ, Isaw ng Manok and Baboy. The kids ordered additional rice while Ate Jehn and I ordered additional Tanduay Ice. Sulit nadin lahat.. Not lugi at all.. :)

A little bit of kwentuhan ofcourse and a little bit of road trip.. :) Even if we just ate there, I enjoyed it because we seldom do that. Yung tipong night out lang na out of the blue pang dinecide. I just can't go out with them all the time kasi I need to prioritize Johann first.

Father Fail..

I never liked my father.. period.. We argue almost everyday.. No happiness talaga kapag nasa bahay cya. I'd rather choose to be outside the house instead of seeing his face.. It started when he did something to my mom that I witnessed myself. After non, I never looked at him as a father figure..

This morning, my hubby (John) and I decided to clean the storage room. I wanted to get the "papag" inside the storage room and place it in the terrace.. It's actually for Johann and Meralco's sake. Johann because, we wanted him to be exposed outside instead of lagi nalang sa room.. For Meralco's because we wanted to save energy. Lagi kasing naka-airconditioner kapag nasa bedroom since it's kulob..

Last night, my father agreed that I can do whatever I like sa "papag" na yun.. However, just this morning, kontra na naman.. Major kontra! High-blood!!! Anyway... Andami na nyang sinabi.. etc.. so we argued more.. The thing is, John was there.. He (father) said pa nga na "Wag nyo pakikielamanan mga gamit ko", "Wala kayong pambili ng mga gamit na yan", "Sisirain nyo lang mga gamit ko, eh ang mahal nyan.. pera pinuhunan ko jan", "Magpatayo kayo ng sarili nyong bahay para nagagawa nyo lahat ng gusto nyo"... and so on..

Well, if you ask me.. itatapon ko lng sa basura lahat ng sinasabi nya.. I don't care.. Pero si John.. Na-nenega cya.. He feels na nakakababa ng pagkatao.. I agree with John.. But I can't do anything about it na kasi nga may Major sapak c father.. John doesn't want to sleep na tuloy dito sa bahay.. grrr..

Believe me.. you won't even want to know or be-friend with him (father).. Kadire cya sa bahay.. Makalat.. madumi.. ipon ng ipon ng basura.. I'll throw garbage outside, next thing I know, nasa loob na ulit ung basurang itinapon ko.. Like ewww.. He even argues with me regarding this house of him daw.. Okay fine! Sakanya na tong bahay.. KAYA NGA NILILINIS NAMIN AT INAAYOS EH.. PARA SA KAPAKANAN NG APO NYA AT BAHAY NYA.. pwe!

Isa pa lang yan sa ayaw ko sakanya.. I don't want to elaborate.. 'coz it will take me forever..

Honestly.. I've never been angry at him like this.. Kung may isang anak na gustong gusto itakwil ang ama.. Ako yun! Whatever other people say... I DON'T CARE!! They don't know the story..

That is my father.. Pwe! I can't even believe I call him daddy.. Pwe! Pwe! Pwe!

He is a MAJOR FAIL!!

Johann's Not Sick Anymore..

Remember last time on my previous post about Johann being sick? Well.. He's okay already.. He just has minor cough and colds.. So I just have to continue giving him meds. If his cough and colds ends, then enough with the meds ofcourse..

Thanks God that he is already fine.. We are just worried that it might get worse if we did not bring him to his Pedia. :)

Ranting...

Haay.. I can't seem to understand why people argue on such small things.. To the point na magkasiraan na.. Nakoooo.. Nakakaloka..

Just can't keep it to myself..

Johann is Sick..

Hmm.. yes he is. Two Sundays ago, Johann had fever. I was a little worried because earlier that day, my hubby, John, and Johann went for a Sunday mass and it was raining then. That was Mother's day by the way. I didn't went to mass since I was so dizzy and I had a hangover. Anyhoooo... like my Ninang said to me, mas okay pa yata ang hamog kesa sa ambon. Especially that Johann is still a baby. I made him drink Tempra.. 


Monday came.. still he had fever.. He was also very quiet that time. So very unusual for him. I said to John, if his fever will not go by afternoon, early in the morning the next day we will go to the clinic near us. That afternoon, his fever was gone. But Tuesday morning, he is hot again and his cough and colds got even worse. So I decided to bring him to Dr. Tatlonghari. His pedia checked him out and asked me to let Johann's blood to be tested. Sadly, it turned pa na low blood si Johann so he gave us prescription of Iron Vitamin B Complex. However, we still have some tests to do.. Like X-ray.. 


When we got the result.. Good thing, Dr. Tatlonghari told us that there's no need to worry much because, Johann has strong lungs so far. It's just that there's this infection. So we have to give him antibiotics and then we'll see after 7 days. He gave us Ceclobid as Johann's antibiotics. 


Tomorrow would be the 7th day. I hope Johann's better. So far, he looks like he is.. Hehe.. 


Johann.... Mommy's not sanay pa naman to see you quiet everytime you have fever. Sana you're better na. And NO to any sakit na ha??

Change of layout..

As you can see.. I changed the layout of this blog into a simpler manageable one.. The layout before where I had to edit the html/css for it to have a personalized feel.. However.. it has problems with the codes that I'm too lazy to check out.. That's why I just chose one of the template here in Blogger.

It is much pleasing anyway.. Just love a plain/simple black background. :)

Japanese Fooood!!

In FB, I saw a photo of a friend eating sushi and maki... Now, I'm craving for makiiii.. all kinds! yay!

Last time when John, Johann and I went to SM Southmall. I really asked if they already have Tempura Japanese Grill, (because if I remember it right, I saw it in the net that they have a branch in SM), however, the girl in Information said wala daw. So we just went straight to Karate Kid to order California Maki and Takoyaki. Well, it's not what I really wanted. However, just to satisfy myself of what I wanted, I just tried to enjoy eating them.

California Maki in Karate Kid is just average. Nothing special about its taste. Wishing for Firecracker Crisp sana or Uncle Sam's Maki.. or other Maki specialties... kaso walaaaa.. :(

Yay. Talk about addiction. hehe. One of these days, I will just order maki in RedKimono or elsewhere for delivery. :)

Johann standing..

Johann just turned 7th months last May 13, 2011. I was really amazed because, on that same day, he tried to let go or the railings in the crib/playpen. When he is on the bed, he also tries to hold on to the pillow first then let go once again. :) He really can't step at first, but just awhile ago, he tried a step. Bravo! my baby! :) 

He really can't speak that much yet, only mama (when crying) and papa if he wants attention. However, you'll really be amazed on how "likot" he can be, that's why, he can do these things in an early age.

Happy 7th month birthday!

Happy 7th month birthday to my baby Johann. I'm happy that I was able to prepare a little something for your birthday.. I'm also glad I was able to spend it with you and your lola and tita's. 


Few more months and it will be your 1st year birthday already. Exciting. 


I'm happy to hear you say "mama" and "papa". Even if you always call your papa, "papa" when you want to play while you only say "mama" when ever you're crying. It's still okay because, when you say it, you look at me na nagpapa-awa effect. You're so cute that way. 


I love you so much, we love you so much.
