SM's Play N Ride

We went to SM Southmall last Tuesday, February 16, 2016. This is because we promised Johann that we'll let him play in Play N Ride.

But first, lemme show you my #Nyelfie and #MOTD (or Makeup of the Day)! Hahaha!

The outfit above was my first option but I had to change to a simpler one. Hehe.

Funny face daw cya.

Entrance is Php250 I think? Well, hindi ko naconfirm yan kay John. Ninang and I had to do some errands pa kasi sa BDO so nauna ang mag-ama ko. Anyway, for the parent or guardian, the entrance is Php50. I had to pay also another Php50 kasi I wanted to take pictures while Johann's playing. Too bad lang 'coz there were only three of them playing inside. 2 girls pa yun. So John, Johann and I played nalang. Kami ata ang nag-enjoy. Ang saya naman kasi talagang mag-slide sa gigantic slide nila don. Hehe.

After 1 hour, we had our dinner in one of our Go to Resto kapag walang makapagdecide kung saan kakain, Savory. We had our usual order.

Never really checked how much. Pag ganyang usapan, I leave it to John na. Haha! If I remember it correctly, he paid around 1k din. Madami naman kami na-take-out for mommy eh so okay nadin.

We had fun naman. Off kasi ni hubby John kaya family date muna kami niyan and buti nagenjoy naman si Johann. :)

Daddy

One thing I missed the most is blogging. Yes. This is really official.

I.am.officially.back.to.business.

How's everyone? Me? I am fine. We (my family and I) are trying to be okay. We are trying to cope up with life.

Earlier this year, January to be exact, Daddy passed away.  It is so sudden that even if I am not close to him, I am still affected. Not to the point that I cry every night though. There is this guilt feeling and emptiness. Yes we do fight a lot, and I mean, A LOT! That's probably why I miss him too. It's so quiet here at home that I miss his presence.


Sorry dad. I am really sorry. It is really true that you will never know what you got until it is gone. I just hope, that wherever you are right now, may God guide you to the light you have hoped for. We will always remember you in good times and bad. We love you. I know you know that Johann misses you. He is just so brave to handle and know that you are gone to heaven with Papa Jesus. But he always remembers you. 

We love you daddy.


It is not easy to say goodbye especially when you never got the chance to say sorry nor say you love them. But for me, it is still never too late. I know that even if Daddy has passed away already, he sees us and knows for sure how sorry we are for ignoring him before. Deep inside I know he knows we love him and that we are grateful for having him as my father, Johann's lolo and mommy's husband.

Mouth Sore

Hi friends! Sorry for the lack of posts nowadays. You know, it's really difficult to blog using an iPad. Lappy is not working yet.. Hindi ko pa napapagawa talaga..

Anyway, to mommies out there, or to anyone who has experienced mouth sore, do you know how to cure it? Well, mouth sore is also known as singaw... Unfortunately, Johann has singaw. He has been cranky for the past 2 days already.. I tried putting Dequadin on his tongue. Nandun kasi yung singaw nya. Sobra siyang nasasaktan.. iyak ng iyak.. He has not been drinking milk din kasi siguro talagang masakit. I've been up all night for the past 2 days 'coz once in a while, he would wake up and cry. Again, siguro kasi masakit.

I don't know what to do. Nakakaawa din kasi ang baby ko.

Will go to the doctor pa tomorrow, Monday. If you know how to cure his mouth sore or atleast lessen his pain, just comment ha? I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Security Pillow

I have a question to those who have kids. Do you have a kid or kids that has/have a security anything? Like, security blanket, pillow, stuffed toy, etc. I do!

When I was in college, there was a bazaar in school where a lot of things are being sold. I was sooo into Monokuro Boo at that time, that when I saw a beaded pillow of MB, I grabbed it and bought it. Utang pa nga ata yun noon sa friend ko. Haha! Anyway, when was that? 6-7 years ago?? or more pa?? Haha.

When I became a mom, I used that beaded pillow as blanket to Johann.

He is 4 months in this photo. See? perfect for kumot si Monokuro Boo. 

Now, he really can't sleep without that pillow. He gets cranky kapag antok na antok na siya then hindi pa niya hawak yung pillow. Everytime we have long travels, need namin kasama si pillow. In short, he can't let it go.

My only fear lang is, baka masira si pillow, then always cranky na si baby.. What will I do?? Huhu.

Alam nyo ba?! Niretoke na yung pillow! It's soooo manipis na kasi, it can tear apart anytime na noon, since nandito si ninang ko before and magaling siya manahi, inayos nya yung pillow so medyo makapal na yung tela nya. But, what if, ma-tear apart bigla?? Haay.

Oh well.. Look at Johann. What he does is, he rubs the snout of the pillow with his fingers.. Orrrr, he rubs the snout with his snout este nose or lips. Haha.. Addict lang!

I am just wondering, on what age kaya ma-lelet go ni Johann yang pillow na yan? Hmmm.. 

New Haircut! :)

Summer is here! I can feel it na sobra! Ang inet palagi! Malamang niyan mataas na naman ang kuryente this month and next month. Oh well. 

If you have read some of my previous posts regarding my little boy, Johann, makikita nyo sa ibang pics nya na mahaba hair nya. Well, it is his papa's choice. John wants Johann to have slight long hair 'coz he looked cute.

However, since you can really feel the heat of summer, we decided to have his hair cut short. Plan sana is mohawk cut. Well, it is mohawk style naman, bagsak lang talaga hair ni Johann plus, I don't want to put gel on his hair yet, kaya hindi nakapatayo yung middle portion ng hair/head nya. Masyado pa siyang baby for gel.

Will have better photos next time. Hindi masyado halata or kita sa pic. Hehe. Parang hindi halatang mohawk ano? It's okay, hmmm.. he looked, pasaway and he is really pasaway, pero it's summer, gusto ko mapreskuhan si Johann. Hehe. Look at that smile! Smile na may masamang balak. Haha. Cute!

Bumper to Bumper Traffic!

I just finished cleaning the room. Opo, gabi na, nagligpit pako. I want to show you our everyday scenario at home.

Gigising ako, maglilinis and lampaso ng kaunti. Will arrange Johann's toys. When he wakes up, maya maya eto na po ang kalalabasan ng mga niligpit ko....

Halo-halong toys of Johann. Wala bang ube at leche flan jan??

Pero these past few days, napapansin ko, he's into cars. It's so aliw lang 'coz he doesn't just play with them na tipong "broom! broom!" or paaandarin lang. Most of the time he would line them up just like the photo below.

Take note friends, he knows where the front side is. If you'd look closely, makikita nyo na nakapila yung cars na parang traffic lang. Plus all facing one direction. Walang naiiba or naka-wrong way jan. Hehe! If I would remove one car nga jan and then face the wrong way, he would react na parang "no mommy, that's not the right way, okay?"

Last week, I bought him 2 new wheels. This is his recent favorite. Truck daw.

Yesterday, nagulat ako, haha! I saw him arranging his cars this way naman. Not bam bam na daw. Meaning, hindi daw sila bangga. 

ilang lane ba meron yang hi-way na yan?? hehe.

BTW, we seldom buy him toys na. Andami na kasi sa bahay talaga. I got aliw lang last week since he has been into toy cars and lining them up kaya I thought of buying him 2 new. But.. but.. I don't buy him expensive ones. As much as possible, medyo magandang quality pero not so mahalia. You can not really see lang sa photo but some of his cars there, wala nang mga gulong.. Hehe. Pag mahal kasi masyado then masisira na katulad ng ganon, nakakapanghinayang. Atleast if medyo cheap, ok lang. Daba? We usually invest on nice clothes and foot wear. Kasi tumatagal talaga. Pwede pa sa next baby. Unlike toys, usually madali nasisira. :)

Items From SnR

John and I went to S&R earlier to check items that are already on sale. We arrived at S&R around 2pm. Got the things we really needed. Most of the items we need are either B1T1 or marked down. Some aren't so we'll just go back tomorrow or I mean later, midnight na pala.

You know, it is my first time to really buy items in the grocery na ganito kalalaki. It was like hoarding for me pero kanina when we were grocery shopping, a lot of people pala talaga buy or hoard these items. Haha. Parang end of the world or it's like something big will strike earth kaya need mag-imbak ng kung anu-anong kailangan. Haha! Usually kasi, family size for me is yung isang malaking pack ng Joy na nabibili sa typical grocery. Sa S&R gallon by gallon ang labanan! Haha. I wanted to buy Downy and Tide sana.. kaso ang laki and mahalia. Di keri ng budget. lol. By the way, first timer din ako mag-grocery sa sale ng S&R. 

I am not a member, my sister-in-law is. However, after grocery shopping earlier, I am considering on applying for their membership. Before kasi, we would go with my in-laws lang if they will go grocery shopping at S&R. Speaking of, pumunta din sila kanina and they brought Johann with them, naka-motor kasi kami so bawal bata. I mentioned kasi the night before, I might check na for some items na naka sale para hindi na super hassle sa sale day itself. Siguro, naintriga din sila so gora nadin sila kanina.

Hubby went to work around 5pm so he needed to go na by 4:30pm. In-laws and I finished grocery shopping around 6pm nadin. Sa in-laws ko na ako sumabay pauwi.

Hubby and I agreed on a certain budget to spend but as expected, I exceeded. Hehe. Here are the grocery items we bought. Karamihan jan, naka-sale na. Few items lang yata yung binili ko that are not on sale. I will estimate pala the prices ha. Kasi kadalasan, P99.95.. so, gagawin ko nang P100. Hehe.

Mababawasan yung monthly na ginogrocery ko. And mauubos to just in time for the second sale this year in S&R on September. By that time, member na ako! Haha. Kailangan magipon ng P10,000 or may be more? for September sale! Hahaha! :))

As I said, most of the items we bought are already on sale, but there will be more later, March 13-17. 

Kaya I need to sleep na, I'll go with my sister-in-law ulit mamaya. We need to leave early.

Potty Training

Yez! It is already midnight, and I am talking about potty training. Well, in my boy's age, he is suppose to be telling us, adults, already whether he is going to pee or poo. I am actually having a hard time in doing so because, everytime we talk to him about that, may be at the back of his mind, he thinks we are just joking or playing with him.

We always tell or ask Johann: "Baby, tell mama or papa if you're going to poopoo okay?" or "Are you going to weewee?" That's our scenario everyday. If we remove his diapers, maya maya, naghahabulan na kami 'coz Johann peed somewhere in the house, even pooped! He would tell us palagi, pero after he does something na. Lalapit yan sakin, "Mama, weewee." or "Mama, poopoo." Yun pala, tapos na! ehehe.

We didn't want to force him to do so kasi syempre, baka ma-pressure. Lalong hindi na magsabi. He would pee naman on the toilet every night before sleeping eh. Pero poo, hindi talaga.

However, earlier, before sleeping, he told me repeatedly, "Mama, poopoo baby." At first, I thought he was bluffing. He seldoms do that to us kasi. But, it seemed to me na parang seryoso ata tong baby ko. So I went with him sa cr and made alalay to him on the toilet bowl.

It took us around 10-15 minutes before he finally and successfully did it. Hehe. Yes, it was a success for me as a parent and also for him.

I just hope he continues telling us padin whether he is going to pee or poo. Baka one time big time lang ngayon eh. Hehe.

Mag-Ama Lunching Out

It is our "laba-day" today. Meaning, John and I have to do the laundry. John started while I cleaned the room, the sala and dining. Then my sis-in-law called. She's inviting us to have lunch with them. It's their tito's despedida lunch. Tito Mon is going back to the US and his flight, I think, is tonight.

I told John that I'll finish doing the laundry nalang and sila nalang ang sumama. I really wanted to go but we can't leave the laundry when it has already been started. It's okay lang pati sakin.

I have a new favorite flavor. Tiramisu and Avocado. Im'ma try other flavors next time.

Johann's a little tired so now, he's sleeping as I type this. Hehe.
